MISSION

We are a small but fast growing independent agency that services the world’s leading luxury and premium clients, across all media channels. Reporting directly to the SEO Account Director, we are looking for an SEO Content & Outreach Strategist to work on some of our most prestigious accounts and lead our digital content and outreach offering.

You will help build out this offering alongside the SEO Account Director and then execute the delivery of Content & Outreach campaigns across a range of clients. Working alongside your Social counterpart, you will develop a holistic cross-channel content offering that allows for content campaigns to be created that engage users at different points of the digital journey. Longer-term, we are aiming for a wider creative content team to be created, which you will be a key part in formulating.

The accounts you will be working on can range from fashion and hospitality to travel and jewellery. You will work closely with each account’s respective Account Manager or Account Lead to identify content creation opportunities, with the aim of being able to create and  deliver award-winning campaigns.

This role will have a key SEO focus, therefore you will be accountable for generating backlinks to content created as well as using established PR connections to gain online coverage. However you will also work closely  with our Social & Paid Media teams, so that holistic content campaigns are created for cross-channel accounts to maximise coverage and results.

The SEO department at VERB works around a core goal of delivering an outstanding SEO product for our clients. You will be within a supportive and collaborative environment designed to equip you with the confidence to deliver outstanding work. As SEO Content & Outreach Strategist, we will be looking for someone who will help contribute to this environment, by delivering outstanding results for clients, developing the skill set of other team members and sharing knowledge with the wider agency. 

OUTCOMES

To be successful in this role the candidate will have a keen interest in search marketing and an appetite to continually learn and keep up to date in a fast-changing industry. The role is well suited to a self-starter who thrives on taking responsibility, ownership and prides themself on advancing their ability. They will have an inquisitive and curious mind with a passion for problem solving. Clients and subsequent content opportunities will vary, therefore the successful candidate must be able to identify opportunities and articulate well to clients the benefit of any proposed work.

Your key objectives will include:

  • Leading on client communications and being seen as an expert within content, outreach and digital PR.
  • Development of this offering within the agency alongside the SEO Account Director.
  • Creation of award-winning content campaigns.
  • Ability to create and produce content that generates natural backlinks.
  • Utilise and expand upon your network to obtain online coverage for the brands we work with and the content to be created.
  • Produce reporting structures to report on campaign or ongoing performance.
  • Assisting on new business development for upsell and cross-sell opportunities alongside the SEO Account Director and SMT where required.
  • Input in developing a training programme alongside the SEO Account Director and other Account Managers for new team members and to upskill the wider agency

After 12 months you will be achieving:

  • 90% client satisfaction scores for your clients
  • Work being delivered is of an outstanding standard, driving clear results for clients
  • Contributing to rollout of training sessions
  • Regularly contributing to wider team initiatives
  • Comfortably leading client presentations and calls
  • Key involvement in new business and upsell opportunities
  • Leading the content, outreach and digital PR offering within the agency
