You will use your strategic and management skills to empower your team to deliver award-winning work and strengthen client relationships. You will take ownership of the SEO strategy & account delivery, whilst also spotting and converting up-sell & cross-sell opportunities. You will be bringing your expertise into a team at varying knowledge levels and will be expected to lift the wider team with your knowledge, ability and enthusiasm. You will champion personal development & growth and truly understand what it takes to lead by example.
Build strategic relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor to formulate results-driven SEO strategies on your accounts
Take ownership of the SEO strategy and set a high standard for the level of service delivered across all accounts within your team. As part of this, keep yourself up to date with the latest SEO initiatives and apply these learnings to your team approach
Proactively work with other channel/business leads to support key strategic meetings & client pitch opportunities. Be the go-to for SEO knowledge
Work with New Business and Client Service teams to grow the department revenue, taking ownership of your financial targets and working closely with the MD to deliver a profitable & scalable service
Set the tone for a culture of growth & development within your department by ensuring every team member has a clear development plan and is coached towards timely promotions
Identify knowledge gaps and devise training for your team. This will cover core SEO knowledge as well as coaching them to be critical thinkers - always innovating and re-establishing best practice as the technology & industry evolves.
